THE RESTAURANT
You can find our Ristorante All’Olivo
in the heart of ancient town Lucca; it was born
as historical ‘trattoria’ in 1944
and renovated in 1987 by actual manager Corrado
Petretti and his wife Mrs. Antonella. As a perfect
host, Mr. Corrado gives a warm welcome to all
his guests and takes care of their stay, while
Mrs. Antonella is directly responsible of the
cooking, coordinating the very capable cooks working
in the kitchen.
The restaurant is of a very high level; it is
provided with 3 dining rooms which are smartly
furnished (one of them is for smoking people)
and is has got a beatiful external veranda, overlooked
the square. The veranda is covered & heated
in winter, totally open in summer.
The restaurant can accomodate till 100 people.
It is possibile to reserve one whole room for
business meetings.
We accept also groups with possibility of tasting
tourist menues, always mantaining our high quality
of food.
The plates we propose are part of traditional
cooking with some typical plates of Lucca, as
‘zuppa alla frantoiana’ or ‘farro’,
sometime revised in a modern key.
The Restaurant is wellknown also for the delicious
fish plates.
The fish is absolutely fresh; each morning it
arrives from Viareggio, in our Restaurant you
can taste only fish caught on that day.
For all our plates we use only the best products
of that season of the year.
The dining rooms are air-conditioned in summer,
the tables are well spaced out, allowing privacy
and quiet.
Reservation is appreciated
For a whole meal with meat, medium price is 40-50
Euro for each person (wine not included); for
a whole meal with fish, medium price is 60-80
Euro each person (wine not included); for tourist
groups, prices can start from 30 Euro each person.
